2 Kategori Baru di MTV Video Music Awards 2020: Music Video from Home dan Quarantine Performance

Untuk diketahui, ajang penghargaan MTV VMA 2020 akan digelar pada Minggu, 30 Agustus 2020 mendatang.

TRIBUNPALU.COM - MTV akhirnya merilis daftar lengkap nominasi Video Music Awards (VMA) 2020.

Diketahui, ajang penghargaan tersebut akan digelar pada 30 Agustus 2020 mendatang.

Dikutip dari laman MTV, sederet nama penyanyi maupun musisi kenamaan bertengger di jajaran daftar nominasi.

Sebut saja Ariana Grande dan Lady Gaga yang memimpin dengan total sembilan kategori.

Kemudian penyabet lima piala Grammy 2020, Billie Eilish serta The Weeknd menyusul dengan enam kategori.

Keempatnya juga diketahui masuk sebagai nominasi pada kategori Video of the Year.

Di sisi lain, pada penyelenggaraannya kali ini yang bertepatan dengan masa pandemi COVID-19, VMA menghadirkan dua kategori baru.

Yakni, Best Music Video from Home dan Best Quarantine Performance.

Sementara itu, boyband asal Korea Selatan, BTS berhasil masuk dalam tiga kategori, yaitu Best Pop, Best K-Pop, dan Best Choreography.
