Wabah Virus Corona Merebak, Pemerintah Indonesia Keluarkan Peringatan bagi Wisatawan
Terkait pariwisata yang menjadi salah satu sektor andalan Tanah Air, pemerintah telah memberikan peringatan kepada para wisatawan yang ke Indonesia.
4. Indonesian citizens are advised not to travel to Mainland China during this period.
The Government of the Republic of Indonesia has successfully repatriated a total of 243 Indonesian which consists of 37 Indonesians living in Hubei Province, one foreigner (spouse of an Indonesian woman), and five members of the Advance team of the Indonesian Embassy in Beijing. All of them have arrived safely at Natuna. Following the repatriation, all 243 people have undergone observation for 14 days as well as health checks and were all declared in good health. Furthermore, the aircraft carrying the repatriated citizens have also been sterilized.
Symptoms of Coronavirus may include fever, cough, respiratory problems, sore throat, and fatigue. In this regards, the public is recommended to undertake the following precautions to reduce exposure to-and-transmission of a range of illness, which includes hand and respiratory hygiene, and safe food practices:
- Frequently clean hands by using alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water;
- Wear a mask if you have respiratory symptoms;
- When coughing and sneezing cover your mouth and nose with flexed elbow or tissue (throw the tissue in a closed bin and wash hands) or wear a mask if you have respiratory such as a cough or runny nose;
- Avoid close contact with people who are unwell or showing symptoms of illness;
- Avoid direct unprotected contact with live animals and surfaces in contact with animals, as well as consumption of raw and undercooked meat; and
- Seek medical attention if you have a fever, cough, and respiratory problems and share previous travel history with your healthcare provider.
